Lent is a season of prayer, fasting, and generosity as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. One way we live this out as a church is through the Easter Renewal Offering, an opportunity to invest in what God is doing beyond the walls of Flourishing Grace. Every dollar given goes directly toward furthering the gospel and bringing hope to those in need.

This year, the Easter Renewal Offering will support:

Good Soil Church – A New Church in Ogden, UT
John and Bailey Meyne moved to Utah in 2024 to plant Good Soil Church. Good Soil launched on March 1st, 2026! Last year we had the privilege of supporting Good Soil Church through the Easter Renewal Offering. Since launching in March, Good Soil has been putting down roots in Ogden—building their core team, gathering on Sundays, and engaging their community with the gospel. God has blown them away in how many people he is bringing to Good Soil, and John and Bailey are focused on continuing to build their teams, serve the people who are attending (many of which have yet to meet Jesus), and hire staff members to join them in this work. This year, we're continuing our partnership as they move from launch into the work of establishing a healthy, growing church.

Salt City Church – Launching in North Salt Lake in 2027
Josh Gardner served on staff at Flourishing Grace as our Minister to Students before sensing God's call toward church planting in Utah. He now serves as Director of Discipleship and Development at King's Cross Church in Fruit Heights and is currently in training to plant Salt City Church in North Salt Lake, with a launch target of 2027. Along with Flourishing Grace, Josh is part of the Times12 church planting network, which equips planters to multiply gospel-centered disciples and churches.

We are excited to partner with Josh and his wife Rachel as God launches this new work in North Salt Lake. Funds from the Easter Renewal Offering will help support Josh's ministry as he builds toward the launch, laying the groundwork through discipleship, outreach, and relationship-building in the community.

Aasha India – Bringing Hope and Clean Water to India
Aasha India is a nonprofit devoted to planting churches and doing justice in India. 163 million people in India lack access to clean and safe drinking water. Working through local leaders with deep convictions, Aasha provides for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of communities across India through clean water facilities, care for widows and orphans, medical camps in remote villages, and education for girls. This year, Aasha has also begun a theological training program with local pastors in rural India, graduating their first fifty pastors from the program at the beginning of 2026.
