At Flourishing Grace we long to be a church marked by prayer. We belive that God will do great things in responce to the prayers of His church. We want to invite you to join us as we grow together in prayer.
“The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings. So is the prayer meeting a grace-o-meter, and from it, we may judge of the amount of divine working among a people. If God is near a church, it must pray. And if He is not there, one of dying first tokens of His absence will be a slothfulness in prayer!”
- Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Praying for One
Praying for one is a ministry initiative of Flourishing Grace Chruch. We believe that God has many people in our neighborhoods and places of work that are “His people” (Acts 18:10). Through the gospel, God has plans to bring them into a flourishing relationship with Jesus. But He hasn’t… yet.
Therefore, every day we ask God to give us ONE person to share His love with, and we pray for ONE neighbor or coworker by name. This person is your ONE. The ONE that God has given you to contend in prayer for every day. We want to invite everyone at Flourishing Grace to make this commitment with us; let’s commit to pray every day for our ONE.
WEDNESDAY PRAYER MEETING
On September 11, 2024 we began to meet every Wednesday at noon to seek the Lord together in prayer. For those who are new to prayer or looking to cultivate a rhythm of seeking Jesus this is an opportunity to pause, rejoice, ask, and yield in unity with other believers. Each week we pray through a passage of scripture, and bear one another’s burdens by praying over the churches prayer requests. If you are looking to grow in dependency on God we encourage you to come seek the Lord with us.
Details: Every Wednesday | 12pm | Inside the Sanctuary.
Prayer request
One of the ways we practice dependency on God is through prayer. Please let us know how we can be specifically praying for you, someone you know, or something going on in your life. All prayers not marked confidential will be prayed over at our Wednesday Prayer Meeting.
