Lent is a season of prayer, fasting and alms giving as we prepare our hearts for celebration of the resurrection of Christ. Alms giving is an opportunity to look inward at the things the control our heart and practice releasing our grasp on the things of this world in order to cling all the more tightly to Jesus. This is why we have created the Easter Renewal Fund.

100% of the Easter Renewal Fund will go beyond the walls of Flourishing Grace. This is not money that is kept but rather sent out to help start and strengthen churches and ministries here in Utah and around the world. This year’s Easter Renewal Fund will have three recipients, Summit 419 (a church plant in Coalville, UT), Aasha India, and Churches against Trafficking.

Summit 419 Church is a new church plant in Coalville, UT. Brent Peterson, who has served faithfully as a pastor in Davis County for years, has sensed the Lord's call to plant on the other side of the mountain. The backside of the Wasatch is in desperate need of churches and is expected to grow tremendously in the coming years. Currently, Summit 419 Church is raising funds and preparing to launch in a renovated building this September. Flourishing Grace is seeking to establish a multi-year partnership to support their launch and early years of ministry. This year's Easter Renewal Offering marks the beginning of an exciting kingdom initiative.

Aasha India is our international partner devoted to planting churches and doing justice in India. This year we are serving Aasha India in a unique way by funding a Bible School building for local pastors in India to receive training in theology and ministry. Through this resource Aasha India and their pastors hope to train and equip more church planters who will be sent into one of the most unreached places on the planet.

Churches Against Trafficking is a new ministry currently being formed in Utah by Flourishing Grace's own Jeff Benson. We're greatly encouraged by individuals in our church community, like Jeff, who are responding to the burden that God has placed on their hearts. Jeff is mobilizing churches across Utah to pray against the human trafficking occurring in our own backyards, while also developing a multi-year plan to combat this issue. We eagerly anticipate the growth and development of this ministry in the years to come and feel privileged to be involved from its inception.

We are so excited to see the gospel advance and justice roll through the generosity of Flourishing Grace. Click the button below to be taken directly to our Easter Renewal Fund.
